HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

To my beloved Blogger friends.

I am honored and amazed whenever I write here that anyone takes the time

to read my stuff.

Many people have told me I should write. But I don't know where to start.

I'm thinking about it, though.

Should I do a cookbook, with short stories thrown in?

Freelance for magazines or newspapers?

Trashy romance novels?

Ummmm....NO.

Anyway, pray for me about that.

I hope your mother's day shapes up to be the most wonderful ever.

Mine is looking pretty good.

MG showed up today out of the blue.

Surprised my socks off.

He had candy, pink roses, And a giant Mylar balloon that says MOM!

I cried.

He said he wanted to make sure I was honored.

The kids are so sweet with their flowers from the yard and

the little handmade booklets and trivets from school.

Those things mean just as much as the candy and flowers.

The skinny little arms around my neck and the butterfly kisses

are just as sweet as strawberries and champagne.

May you have many hugs, a sunshiney day

and lots of CHOCOLATE.
