I guess they are taking a break next week and CJ and Kelly need some new ideas for carnival subjects so help them out if you happen to stop by the site.
IN fact...you SHOULD stop by. It's gotten a beeeyootieful new dress-up!
The carnival topic for the week was "One thing you never thought you’d be “into” but really enjoy”.
The first time I ever went to a scrapbooking party, I was like "Yah! RIght! Like I have time for this!" But they asked us to bring 4 pictures related to the same subject, gave us a little background and WHAM there was a finished page. And it looked halfway decent.
That was the surprising part. Because even though I like to think of myself as artistic, I am type-A and I have the attention span of a squirrel. So I'll work on it for about 10 minutes and if it isn't perfect, SO WHAT!?! At least it's done.
So as a result, some of my scrapbook pages are lame. Some are really cool. None of them are "show case" or "gorgeous".
But it's something I enjoy. And it relaxes me.
Which, right now is a VERY good thing.

I love scrapping. I just wish I had more time for it! At least "time" is the excuse I give myself when I end up with a not so creative layout!
I just wanted to thank you for all the wonderful ideas you've sent to CHBM's carnival in the past and hopefully you'll send them many more in the future.
I'm no longer doing the carnival (long story), so I won't be able to see your ideas until everyone else does!
