Red Neck Woman - CHBM Carnival

This weeks Carnival is about our music tastes.
It was hard for me to pick JUST ONE! I am a gospel singer so I adore that style; especially the 4 and 5 part harmonies.
I am a sucker for a great musical. I know all the words to every song in "The Sound Of Music" and "Fiddler on the Roof" by heart.
I like old country ~ Hank Sr, Ernest Tubb and those men who stood for everything good and decent.
Rockin' 80's stuff - Sting, Journey, AC/DC, ZZ Top - YAH! Crank it, BABY!!

But I guess if I had to list my "guilty pleasure" it would be Red Neck Woman music. You know like this one...

or this one!

I am SOOOO naughty! **WICKED GRIN**
But now you know.

GREAT list! It's so hard to pick just one isn't it. I love all types of music but I did manage to pick one current. Anyways, I LOVE The Sound Of Music too, and the 80's stuff is so classic to me since I'm a child of the 80's myself. Oh yes, Journey, who could forget Steve Perry's voice singing those great love songs.......

Glad I stopped by, great blog. :~)

Hey, thanks for stopping by the blog! It's great to meet another Crazy Hip Mama....

I didn't think about Fiddler, but I know ALL the words, too. And I love "Your Cheatin' Heart" by Hank Sr. Totally forgot to list Sting, and ZZ Top. Yes, I'd say we have a lot of the same stuff.

And I used to DJ back in the early 90's for a little southern Gospel station, WTTI down near Dalton, GA. I liked the Easters, still love the Inspirations, And J.D. Sumner along with Bill Gaither.
Nice meeting you, too! I'll come back to visit.
