My future...T.T. #21

I've written about my passion to become a "baby catcher". I am basically a birth junky. I love the wonder, the perfection in chaos, the amazing elemental love of the experience. So here's a few little "reasons" I want to spend the rest of my life bringing new lives into this world.

**Some of these photos have come to me in emails over the years. If they are yours, I hope you will excuse the fact that I used them on my humble blog and consider the source. Thank you.

Precious teeny feet.

I love you, Daddy!

OH PLEASE, just let me sleep!

My midwife with #4 actually weighs her

delivered babies like this.

Tiny #4 sleepin' ~ one week old.

Hey, MOM! It's really boring around here.
How babies are REALLY delivered. :D

A friends' new grandbaby. He is Perfectly precious!

Pondering the meaning of life.

Such an amazing little creature...
With a sense of humor. Daddy's hairy arms must tickle!

Sleeping princess. Cuz that's the only way she'd hold still long enough for them to get the roses to stay on her head.

And I can't discount the parents. My passion isn't JUST for the babies, or the rush of the actual birth experience. It is to help make this awesome time in their family life something that is pleasant; to help make happy memories, you know?

Finally, I believe that pregnancy should be FUN! a new mommy and daddy shouldn't have to be on pins and needles for 8 months just waiting for something to go wrong; sometimes, I think women "talk" themselves into complications and compromised pregnancies.

My philosophy is that everything will be FINE. If something funky happens, we'll deal with it, but you can DO IT. And enjoy it. It only happens once. Each birth is different. Each birth is it's own unique experience.

I CAN'T WAIT to get started.

Have a rockin' week, ya'll!!

**Note ~ Wow! I just went to the Thursday Thirteen site to pick up the code and discovered that this is IT. The End. Final. The last Thursday Thirteen.

I'm sad.

Come back and say Hi sometime, ok?

My favorite was your 4th child sleeping. I also liked how babies are really delivered...that picture just makes me smile.

I am so sad about the Thursday Thirteen ending.
