I got tagged. My friend Kathy from RittyRats took the time to do this one up and she must want to see my answers. So she tagged me...and here I am!
Not that I have the history with MG that she has with her Larry. We've only known eachother two years. Here goes...
The basic facts:
Who is your significant other? MG...stands for My Guy. He would DIE if I published his name. He's not really thrilled about my blogging...
How long have you been together? Friends for about 8 months, then decided to begin a relationship May 5, 2006.
Dating/Engaged/Married? I am fairly sure we are engaged. I have a ring and I distinctly remember him saying "Beautiful, if you aren't busy for the rest of your life, will you spend it with me?"
How old is your S.O.? 50. If you ask him, he'll say "too old".
What’s his/her middle name? Same as my ex, unfortunately.
Which one?
I think some of these answers are going to surprise you. I know some of them surprised me!
Who eats more? He does! But after a gastric bypass, EVERYONE eats more than me.
Who says "I love you" first? He does, usually.
Who weighs more? He does.
Who sings better? I do, most definitely. But he's not half bad.
Who’s older? He is by nine years.
Who’s smarter? I am! But I would never tell him that. (see last entry)
Whose temper is worse? I get angrier faster - at the drop of a hat if I've had less than 6 hours of sleep. But my tempter drops just as quickly. If he gets mad, it can last for days.
Who does the laundry? Me. Because I like my clothes to all remain the SAME COLOR as when they went INTO the washing machine.
Who does the dishes? We share. Half and half. He used to do them all the time, but now that he goes to college AND works, we are trying to balance it out.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me.
Whose feet are bigger? Ummm, mine.
Whose hair is longer? Mine, but not by much.
Who’s better with the computer? Most definitely me.
Who mows the lawn? Me. He helped with the weedeating once.
Who pays the bills? We share. This is a new concept for me. We meet once a week and after paydays to discuss where we are at financially and who takes care of what. It was very difficult for me at first, but I'm getting better. (see last entry)
Who cooks dinner? mostly me. He used to all the time, but we adjust as life changes.
Who drives when you are together? I do unless we are in his car (which has been like maybe TWICE since I've met him), because he (A) he drives all evening at work and (B) he hates driving my Suburban. (also, see last entry)
Who pays when you go out to dinner? Whoever brought up the idea of going out.
Who's the most stubborn? He is! But he'll deny it.
Who is the first one to admit when they’re wrong? I think this one is a tie. We are both very flexible and able to admit when we are wrong.
Whose parents do you see more? As far as we know, his have both passed on, so that answers that question. You can probably tell from that statement that he wasn't very close to them.
Who named your dog? No dog. Although he wishes we did. I'm not a dog person. I named the cats. (see the last entry)
Who kisses who first? Again, a tie.
Who asked who out? I asked him for a ride on his bike. He asked me to meet him for coffee.
Who's more sensitive? I am. He's a man. Sometimes he just doesn't have the compassion for others that I wish he did.
Who's taller? I am. But again, he won't admit that.
Who has more friends? Hard to say. Up until he started his new job, I would have said me, but he has met lots of people in the last three months. He is so personable, everyone likes him.
Who has more siblings? I do, I think. It may be a tie. 3 / 3.
Who wears the pants in the relationship? Sore subject. I do. Because I have had to all my life. And it's hard to give up that spot...or even SHARE it. He says (to everyone that will listen) that I have "control issues". Don't tell him I said this, but he is right. I'm trying...some days are better than others. And the funny thing is that I WISH I wasn't. I would love to be able to rely on someone enough that I could trust them with my family and my future. I've just been knocked down so many times that I can't "give it up yet". Hopefully, someday...
I TAG whoever wants to do this one. It's thought provoking, to say the least.

I'd play along, except, I don't have a S.O (working on it though!)
