Family history

For Photo Friday over at the Incredible Amazing Crazy Hip Blog Mamas the gracious ladies chose one of my photo submissions; a photo of my dad and some friends zipping in through the surf to slide up on the sand. I have a few more photos to share with you, if you're interested.
My father actually builds the boats. He is an excellent craftsman. I'm very proud of him. He's been fishing and building most of my life...and I'm 40. He was even featured in Sport Fishing Magazine and I wrote a story HERE about the time we caught a huge shark. (It's the second one down on the page!)
He also serves on the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife's Restoration and Enhancement Board. Their 2005 report is Here.
