Through the eyes of a child - Psalm 8

Every day I am so grateful I have children.
They remind me to stop...to take a minute...look down and look around...to look up and marvel; we call them "Oooo Wow" moments.
As is "Oooo, WOW! Mom, look at that!"
Look at that gorgeous purple sunset!

Thank you, Lord!

WOW! Look at our hands, Mom. Will mine grow up to look like yours?
I hope so, Baby Girl. But maybe with not quite as many scars.

Shhh, Mom! What's that noise inside your chest?

That's the sound of my heart saying how much it loves you.

Mom, check out this BUG! It's SO tiny!

God made some AMAZING stuff, didn't He?

After all...He made you, too!

Thank you, Lord, for these four amazing miracles you have given me and for all the incredible things you have placed on this earth for us to enjoy. We know you love us because of all your awesome gifts!

While typing this, I often caught myself humming a song written from the first verse of this Psalm that I heard sung by Sandi Patti's incredible voice. .

Oh, Lord, Our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the Earth.

Oh, Lord, Our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the Earth.

O Lord, we praise Your name!

O Lord, we magnify Your name!

Prince of Peace, Mighty God!

O Lord God Almighty!

What a beautiful post...I loved all of the pictures that you added. And it's so true...my daughter has me take many moments, I probably might not have, to stop and admire everything around me.
